Hyperliquid Dev Stack Looks Solid – Anyone Building on It?

Just got done poking through the Hyperliquid (HYPE) dev docs — I’ve gotta say, it’s cleaner than I expected.

Zero-gas trading layer + super fast block finality = very promising for DeFi UX.
I’m exploring a small tool that could plug into their perp markets.

Is anyone here building on or integrating with Hyperliquid yet?
Wondering how active the dev side of the community is and what kind of support they offer for early contributors.
Would love to swap resources if you’re hacking on the same chain!

Hyperliquid’s clean docs and zero-gas trading layer sound nice in theory, but there's a lot of hype with minimal execution so far. Fast block finality and DeFi UX improvements are great, but these things need to scale under real-world pressure — something Solana, where Hyperliquid is built, has struggled with. There’s still significant risk around adoption, security, and ongoing developer support. Until they prove they can maintain a solid product without collapsing under growth, I’d hold off on any serious integration.

Hyperliquid’s dev docs may look clean, but it’s still early days for the project. Zero-gas trading and fast block finality sound promising, but we’ve seen similar claims fizzle out before. The real challenge is scalability and security under pressure. Solana itself has had stability issues in the past, so the tech risk here is high. It’s too soon to get excited about integration without seeing how this performs in real-world conditions. Be cautious with early contributions — there might be a lot more hype than substance at this stage.
