How Far Have Crypto Wallets Come?

I think wallets are evolving in a direction that’s too focused on security and not enough on convenience. We need more user-friendly wallets for mass adoption, even if it means sacrificing some security features for ease of use.
 
I’m excited about the future of decentralized wallets. No more relying on third-party services like exchanges to hold your assets. Full control in the hands of the user is where we’re headed, and I’m all for it.
 
The future of wallets lies in interoperability. Imagine a wallet that could seamlessly work with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and all other blockchains. That’s when we’ll see real progress.
 
To be honest, I still prefer custodial wallets for their simplicity. I know the risks, but for someone who’s not super technical, it’s just easier than managing private keys and hardware wallets.
 
The key to the future of wallets is security without compromise. Multisig wallets are already a huge step in the right direction, but we need more innovations like that to protect users from hacks and scams.
 
I think hardware wallets will eventually become the default standard. Cold storage offers unparalleled security, and as more people realize this, hot wallets may lose their appeal.
 
I don't believe we're in the golden age yet. The 2021 NFT boom was built on hype, and most of those projects are now dead. Until NFTs prove they can offer value over the long term, they won't enter any golden age.
