Actually took a dive into ONDO’s docs and contracts a few weeks ago. Structurally, they’ve done a better job than the 2017 STO crowd, but the core pitch—tokenizing yield-bearing TradFi paper is still subject to all the same off-chain dependencies. Custodians, compliance wrappers, and counterparty risk don't magically disappear because it's on-chain now. It's a UX upgrade, not a paradigm shift.
