Sure, some games are integrating NFTs, but most are still trying to figure out how to make them truly meaningful beyond just selling digital collectibles. FIFA jumping on board is no surprise—they love anything that can be monetized. But don’t get too excited about full ownership of assets. In reality, how much control do you really have over something that’s entirely dependent on a centralized platform The whole idea sounds nice in theory, but we’re in the early days, and there’s a ton of risk involved. The promise of true ownership and play-to-earn models might crumble once the bubble bursts.
