Verification Code

The Verification Code pertains to a code that is sent to a second device so as to secure the user’s data through the verification of his or her identity. The sending of a Verification Code had become industry standard for users logging in to an account across different devices.

The Verification Code is usually used for Two-Factor Authentication processes. Being a security protocol, the sending of these codes helps avoid internet robots abusing and spamming their web forms.

The Verification Code is generated at random and appears in an image above the textbox where the user needs to key the codes in so that the information would be sent.
