Hidden Cap

The Hidden Cap refers to the monetary value that a cryptocurrency is eligible receiving from investors in its Initial Coin Offering.

What determines the Hidden Cap is developed only by and is privy to the cryptocurrency’s developer team. A Hidden Cap allows smaller investors to place their money by barring more high-end investors from putting great amounts of money.

As the more wealthy investors want to be disclosed of the total supply of an asset prior to investing their money in it, the Hidden Cap serves the purpose of preventing this awareness. What this ultimately does is limit just how much money the investors would be willing to put out.
