Hard Cap

In the field of cryptocurrency trading, a Hard Cap refers to the maximum amount of money a cryptocurrency would be able to receive from investors through its Initial Coin Offering (ICO)

Pertaining to a limited period of time in the transparency of coin supply, an ICO also allows potential buyers make handsome profits if the declared coin can already be sold directly to them. Crypto traders invest their money in these coins hoping that they will eventually go up in value, increasing probably two to three times more than what they were bought for. A Hard Cap then is seen as a major financial marker and is of course consistently larger that the small cap.
