In the crypto coin realm, an asset refers to any form of cryptocurrency. Cryptoasset is any digital coin such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Ripple, Monero, etc.
Cryptoassets are internet-based currencies formed by a network of computers that are capable of processing verifications and registrations of all transactions in the system. As a reward for working on the processes, computers are paid in the form of digital tokens. This entire system is made possible using the Blockchain technology, the driving force behind all cryptoassets.
Basically, cryptoassets are digital assets. However, not all digital assets are cryptoassets.
